The online forum has been developed at the request of LACL members to provide a mechanism to discuss any issues facing local authorities and share these with other authorities who from their own experiences or suggestions can help in resolving them.
Registration
The forum is free to join and registration can be completed via the following link: http://www.ciria.org/forum. To register please click on the "register" button at the top of the page.
Once you have accepted the registration agreement terms you will be able to register (creating username, password, etc). Please note that registration is for the online forum as a whole not a specifically the LACL forum.
Once you have registered and received an email confirming your username and password sign into the forum and click on the "usergroups" button at the top of the page. This will allow you to select from a drop down list which forum you wish to join.
Joining a "usergroup"
Once you have joined the overall forum you need to request to join a “usergroup”. By requesting to join the LACL “usergroup”, I am sent an email as group moderator to accept the request. If you click on the “usergroups” button at the top of the page and follow the instructions this will generate the automated request. Philip Charles is the moderator for the LACL group, who will once the automated request has been received approve you joining the group.
